A Late Sabbat Pack in the Paradise Lost Chapter of the Camarilla

A nomadic Sabbat pack, Burning Wrath arrived in San Diego last February, and found it much to their liking. They will enjoy San Diego, until they inevitably move on. The pack is comprised of members of various clans, including Brujah antitribu, Toreador antitribu, and a City Gangrel antitribu. They come from all walks of life, including a punk musician, a jazz musician, street punks, an artist specializing in flesh, an assasin, occultists, and even a "retired" cop. They are brought together by shared blood, and loyalty to the Sabbat. When crossed, they truly live up to their name...

Ductus of Coven Burning Wrath, Victoria Rahvin, Brujah antitribu

Victoria, a tall, strikingly beautiful, raven haired leather aficionado, was the original Diva punk goddess. Her career was tragically cut short when a Sabbat War Party nabbed her from a gig and forced her to join their army of the undead in New Orleans on March 26 of 1973. She was Created to fight in her first Crusade, and survived many others and numerous Jyhads following it. Being the Diva that she is, she claimed leadership of Burning Wrath after her first Ductus was killed and she defeated her second Ductus in Monomacy around 1985. Due to her nack for dealing with people in an authorotative manner (and being the only person in the city with enough balls to step forward and take the position), she was, for many months, the sole Bishop of San Diego. Her mistake was relying on the assistance of incompetent Ducti for too long. Rumor has it that one of the first things she did upon arriving in San Diego was to go up to Los Angeles and take down a Gangrel Anarch of significantly lower generation single handedly, and upon arriving back in San Diego, killed a roomfull of Camarilla Toreador and Ventrue.

She performed wherever she could, and was seen practicing snake charming. Her attitude and love of performance cause some to slander her as a Toreador antitribu. None ever dared to say this to her face and find out that she was truly Brujah antitribu to the core...

She was killed outside of Monomacy by being Summoned into a blind alley and attacked from behind out of range of her Majesty by projectile weapons, and brought down soon after by someone with the amazing ability to ignore Majesty.

Pack Priest, Blake Richard Carver, Brujah antitribu

Those who met him described him as anything from warm and considerate to cold and cruel. It is a little hard to say what his real personality was like. While he was an aggressive leader and seemed to be in charge of the Pack most of the time, he could also be seen very pointedly deferring to the Bishop for decisions. There probably was a pattern to it, but his motives were inscrutable. For anyone who knew Blake Carver, there was one thing that is clear. That was that if you messed with someone in his pack, it wouldn't be long before you heard from him.

Carver was presumed killed May 8, 1999 by Nissus, Templar to the Cardinal of the West. He went out to feed before the Monomacy was to begin, and never came back. What happened to him is still a mystery, since Accordists do not run from Monomacies, and *Loyal* packmembers do not fail to respond to their Ducti's Summoning. He is presumed dead, and the cause of his death has proved to be an unsolvable mystery.

Axel, Brujah antitribu

Axel was a mafia hitman/muscleman in his mortal life. He took on enough jobs to grew cold and callous in his contracts, but he wasn't very good at his job. He would just as soon kill his partners as he would the marks when his temper got the better of him (think Joe Pesci without the Italian accent).

When Burning Wrath initiated him into the pack and the Sabbat, he quickly adapted to the harsh lifestyle and the doctrine of freedom to do what he wanted, when he wanted, and how he wanted. Anyone who would dare stand in his way was quickly and ruthlessly killed. He became a valued member of the pack, led by Victoria Rahvin.

His temper grew even more out of control with the blood of the Brujah antitribu in his veins. He would pick his fights, with or without Monomacy, though he would be more interested in beating his opponents to a pulp, rather than diablerizing fellow Sabbat. Due to his short fuse, the pack began to perform multiple Vaulderies with Axel, who only grew to become fixated and obssessed with Victoria from the strength of the Vinculim he developed for her and her use of the Presence Discipline and developed a heated rivalry with Blake Carver. When Victoria chose Blake as pack priest and Axel as pack lieutenant, Axel became incensed and emotionally hurt that his beloved did not choose him to be by her side and it was decided that it was better off for him (and his pack) to find his own path.

Axel was never informed that Michael Weaver, another founding member of Burning Wrath, was chosen to replace Axel as the pack lieutenant. He still has feelings for Victoria, though whether it is Vaulderie-induced, Majesty-induced, or his own true feelings is a matter that is debateable. He will not admit these feelings continue to exist however; the perceptive observer will notice that Victoria's presence has a calming effect on his personality and temper. He would do anything for his pack (and especially his pack leader).

Axel was kidnapped by a young Nosferatu antitribu on May 8, 1999. The Nosferatu antitribu leader, Sakla, took Axel from his younger clanmate and sent a message to Victoria through another clanmate, Jeremy Douglas. Jeremy told her that Sakla had Axel, and that he would return when Sakla had decided what favor he wanted from Victoria in exchange for her packmate's safe return. Sakla decided that Victoria waited too long for his reply, and is believed to have killed Axel sometime in mid or late May.

Ashton Cassidy, Malkavian antitribu

Peter was murdered outside of Monomacy the same time as Victoria.

Peter, Malkavian antitribu

Peter wandered off one day.
